Official download guide
Download AnyPS5 safely
AnyPS5 is distributed only through its GitHub releases. This page links straight to those files, tells you which two you need, and lists the SHA-256 hash of each one so you can check what you downloaded. We do not host or mirror anything.
Which files you need
You always need two files from the same release: the relinker for your operating system and the matching system libraries. Do not mix Windows and Linux files, and do not combine files from different releases.
Windows
-
Relinker: relinker-v0.1.1.exe (4.0 MB)
The command-line converter. You run it from PowerShell; it is not an installer.
-
System libraries: prx-windows-v0.1.1.zip (9.6 MB)
A libs folder with the AnyPS5 .prx libraries and the three MinGW runtime DLLs they need.
Same content as prx-windows-v0.1.1.tar.gz.
Linux
-
Relinker: relinker-v0.1.1 (3.3 MB)
The command-line converter. Make it executable with chmod +x after downloading.
-
System libraries: prx-linux-v0.1.1.tar.gz (6.5 MB)
A libs folder with the AnyPS5 .prx libraries built for Linux.
Same content as prx-linux-v0.1.1.zip.

The "Source code (zip)" and "Source code (tar.gz)" links that GitHub adds to every release are snapshots of the source code, not the tool. You only need them if you want to build AnyPS5 yourself.

Check the SHA-256 hash
A hash proves that your file is byte-for-byte the one GitHub published. Run the command in the folder where you saved the files and compare the output with the table above. If a single character differs, delete the file.
Get-FileHash .\relinker-v0.1.1.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Get-FileHash .\prx-windows-v0.1.1.zip -Algorithm SHA256 sha256sum relinker-v0.1.1 prx-linux-v0.1.1.tar.gz shasum -a 256 <file name> What the AnyPS5 download is not
- Not a game pack. No games, firmware or keys are included, and none are available from the project.
- Not a launcher or GUI. You run the relinker from a terminal and start the converted game yourself.
- Not an emulator. It converts a game's executable once into a native program. See the FAQ.
- Not for macOS, Android or iOS. v0.1.1 contains Windows and Linux files only. The main branch has started adding x86-64 macOS output for Rosetta, but it is not part of an official release. Phones and tablets are not supported, so every "AnyPS5 APK" is fake.
Red flags of a fake AnyPS5 download
- A site or repository other than github.com/boykopovar/AnyPS5 offering "AnyPS5.exe", a setup wizard or a "local zip".
- Password-protected archives, or download buttons behind surveys, ads or link shorteners.
- Android APKs, iOS apps or "cloud" versions.
- Promises such as "play any PS5 game", "games included" or "no setup needed".
- Paid "premium" builds, license keys or donation walls before the download.
Found one? You can report a fake repository to GitHub from its page, and warn others in the project's Discussions.
